Decernarea premiilor Grammy – Vezi nominalizarile

Cea de-a 53-a editie a galei premiilor Grammy, eveniment la care pe scena vor canta live artisti precum Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, Barbra Streisand, Eminem, dar si Justin Bieber, Katy Perry si Lady Gaga, are loc duminica, la Staples Center, in Los Angeles.

Cele mai multe nominalizari le are, anul acesta, rapperul Eminem, nu mai putin de 10. Eminem este nominalizat, printre altele, la categoria „albumul anului” (Recovery) si „cantecul anului” (Love the Way You Lie, un duet cu Rihanna). Alaturi de el, la categoria „cel mai bun album al anului” concureaza si Lady Gaga (The Fame Monster), Arcade Fire (The Suburbs), Lady Antebellum (Need You Now) si Katy Perry (Teenage Dream).

Michael Jackson va concura, postum, la categoria „cel mai bun cantaret pop”, cu albumul This Is It. La categoria muzica rock, albumul anului este ales dintre cele lansate anul trecut de Jeff Beck (Emotion & Commotion), Muse (The Resistance), Pearl Jam (Backspacer), Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers (Mojo) si Neil Young (Le Noise).

Beyonce, Norah Jones, Michael Buble, Adam Lambert si John Mayer se afla si ei printre nominalizati la diverse categorii ale celei de-a 53-a editii a Grammy Awards. La fel si Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Cee Lo Green, Robyn, Rihanna, Kings Of Leon, Usher si Miranda Lambert. Premiile Grammy, considerate Oscarurile muzicale in SUA, recompenseaza muzicieni, compozitori, cantareti si trupe in peste 100 de categorii in cadrul unei ceremonii maraton.

La gala de anul acesta i se va aduce un omagiu „reginei muzicii soul”, Aretha Franklin, care ar suferi de cancer. Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson si Florence Welch (solista grupului Florence and the Machine) vor interpreta diverse piese din repertoriul celebrei cantarete americane.

Cantareata Barbra Streisand si rapperul Dr. Dre, care nu a mai cantat in direct la televiziune de mai bine de 10 ani, vor canta si ei la aceasta gala.
